4 Videosoft Media Toolkit Ultimatum is a multifunctional application. It contains a set of programs designed to convert any video file to other video and audio formats, to copy any DVD, to rip a video, and not the least, to transfer files between your computer and iPhone/iPad.

This suite comes with 5 different applications. The first media software from the list is the DVD Ripper Platinum. By using this tool, you can rip your video directly from DVD or from a folder that contains 'VIDEO_TS' files. Usually when transferring your files from a DVD disc, you have a set of files (the most common are VIDEO_TS, .vob, etc.). You need to keep the files together for watching your video. Not to mention that the size of the video is very big.

You will find Video Converter Platinum very useful. It is easy to find a program that helps convert your video files into WMV, AVI or MP4, and many other formats. It is possible to get high quality videos. It is easy to cut your files, select a specific part of the video and save it as a separate file. The ability to change the audio, video and even 3d settings is also included.

If you want to create videos, then the function offered by the DVD Creator will be to your liking. It contains a lot of backgrounds for the menu page. You can also choose the frames, buttons and even the text type (changing its font, color or size). Unfortunately, this is the only function where I encountered some problems. At the beginning, every time I wanted to go to the burning step, the program closed, saying it could not start the process. After several attempts I managed to create a file. I’m still not sure what was the problem.

The suite also provides a DVD Copy app. It can make a copy from DVD to DVD, compress your file (with an implicit quality reduction), or simply copy your DVD to a local disk. The last tool of the suite is iPhone Transfer Platinum. This app allows you to transfer files from your iPhone to PC or iTunes, and even to another iPhone or iPad.

All the above mentioned steps can be performed easily. The program works well, and I personally like its design and functions. I think that having related programs in one package is very convenient.
